Our body is our lifelong home. Dressing in a way that is comfortable and flattering brings inner confidence.

Alex & Lucy continue their discussion on the different elements of Lucy’s Style Coaching Phases and they’re talking about dressing our bodies and body shapes.

Knowing which styles work for your body shape and learning about fit, lines, proportions and scale is a vital element of style.

The first step is to look at the shape of your body as a whole. People often look at their body in sections rather than as a whole and sometimes their view is not positive or based in reality. Sometimes they are stuck in a thinking that has become a habit over many years.

A client recently told Lucy the colour work they did was the icing on the cake. What had her change her perception of herself and how she viewed her body was the body shape work. Viewing her body as a whole, exactly as it is, and seeing there was nothing to change. Just to dress in her most flattering and self expressive way.

Everyone can dress in their best way now feeling comfortable and confident.

Alex & Lucy spoke about how styling is so much more than the visual – many people talk about the feeling their clothes give them and this is so important.

    Lucy worked her magic and now I understand why certain clothing styles and colours work best for me.
