Style, Habits and Curiosity

Lucy & Alex start the year talking about style, habits and curiosity.

Alex & Lucy discuss habits. How they’re created, why awareness and noticing are the first step, and the importance of getting to know yourself.

Some people like to set big goals at the beginning of the year and hit the ground running. Others prefer a slower, more gentle, small step by small step approach. It’s all personal.

Alex & Lucy explore habits around clothing and self expression, including how we use the clothes we already have, how we speak to and about ourselves, our relationship with colour and compliments. The conversation highlights the value of curiosity and knowing what works for you.

Lucy also shares a little about her Thoughtful Wardrobe Challenge for 2026, which invites a slower, more intentional approach to getting dressed, looking at what you already have, and shopping.

I met with Lucy for a colour consultation. It was really interesting thinking about the colours and type of prints which I typically choose and discovering how certain colours worked well with my own eye, hair and skin tones, and how to wear these. The session has been really helpful, and given me the confidence to review my wardrobe and identify clothes that don’t work so well for me, which I had actually not been wearing. I am also able to shop more efficiently now as I have a much clearer idea of what colours work best for me.
