Clothing, Confidence & Change

Alex & Lucy have a thoughtful conversation on clothing, confidence and how we use what we wear in everyday life.

Alex & Lucy reflect on clothing, confidence and change.

From running a half marathon to preparing for a presentation. What we wear plays a part in how we feel and how we approach what we’re doing.

Alex & Lucy explore how clothing can support us. Helping us feel ready for the day ahead whether that’s running kit for a race or a dress and boots for a presentation.

They discuss the connection between clothing and mindset especially in everyday life.  Particularly the move towards working from home for many in recent years. And how what we wear can influence how we feel about ourselves and how others perceive us.

It’s an ongoing, evolving process. A life project that invites curiosity, intention and a willingness to explore what works for you.

They also explore some of the things Alex has taken from their conversations over the past couple of years.  Especially the four elements of a supportive wardrobe: colours that flatter, styles that work for your body, your real lifestyle and your personal preferences.

This conversation marks the end of a chapter as Alex moves on from Cambridge Radio to new adventures. It has been a real pleasure sharing these conversations over the past couple of  years.

After my recent colour consultation I have new found confidence to play with colour combinations.  I have loved creating new outfits and rediscovering items of clothing and accessories that had been unworn for a while.  I have also felt more confident wearing my clothes than I have done for years.  I can’t wait for the next stage of my journey!
